Grand Rapids & Greater Grand Rapids Area - 

Spencer St Chess Club
New City Church Building; 214 Spencer St. NE
Meets most Tuesday nights and offers different USCF-rated and fun events.

Castle Defenders Chess
This is an organizations that runs a yearly summer chess camp for students across West Michigan.

Lakeview Michigan  -

Steeplechess Knights Meeting

New players and experienced players are welcome to enjoy a game of chess against a variety of ages and strengths.
Meets every Friday from 3:00 - 4:30 PM.

Holland - 

Holland Chess Academy
Hope College in Holland
This is the premiere scholastic program in the area. This program teaches kids how to systematically improve their gaime while also offering weekly games,
tournaments and lectures.

Grand Haven Area

Grand Haven Chess Club
This club is newly forming in 2019.  It is intended to serve the Grand Haven, Ferrysburg, and Spring Lake areas. 
St. John's Episcopal Church; 524 Washington St, Grand Haven.
The club meets the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month.

Kalamazoo & Portage - 

Kalamazoo Area Chess Club
This is the local chess club for the city's of Kalamazoo and Portage. Led by National Master Tim McGrew a group of players meet regularly to play and improve.

Meets Sunday afternoons from 3-5.
